Kerosene spill- APD investigating as it may be intentional. Still underway. Purse snatching on Lyman- cyclist stole purse. Tip jar stolen from White Duck- frequent issue Shooting on Amboy across from Adventure Center- drug deal gone wrong- case still open.

Launched WNCfortheplanet.org nonprofits enter activities and educational opportunities.
Riverlink-
Partnering with New Belgium to host Riverfest
RADA-
Excited about studio guide, coming by end of the month. 2nd Saturdays beginning in March. Ads every month and community calendars.
RADTIP- Peter
Members invited to construction update on March 16, 8:30-10a at 14 Riverside Dr
New Business
MOU- Initiative between City/RADBA/RADA $25k over three years to keep businesses relevant during construction
Pole banners- nearly all 100 sponsored. Wayfinding banners for the district.
Motion to support four pole banners in conjunction with MOU signage $1000 made by Tim, 2nd by Joe, motion passed.
Motion to support first initiative of MOU pole banner project, made by Shelly, 2nd by Helene, motion passed. Avery Dollinger engineer from Duke will be onsite for initial install oversight. Dave presented Jason Walls with a certificate of appreciation
Jason Walls- Duke energy. Clean up infrastructure with phase 1 of pole replacement. Line thru district 50 years old, with RADTIP, increasing capacity and line update up thru city. Trying to limit tree removal and offer tree replacement. Planting dwarf fruit trees to replace trees downtown near skate park. Next to Haywood St congregation, 2 trees to be removed from DOT property.

Summer of Glass- hosting History exhibit at 14 Riverside, letters of support needed for grant funding. Sponsorship still needed.
RADLOFTS- final designs to city, permits for April
Stoneyard- engineers and architects working towards permitting
