Our Mission

To recognize the distinctive urban neighborhood that is the River Arts District in Asheville, NC and serve as a unified, representative voice of business owners with city and county officials, legislators, and professional partners to promote and support the businesses, artists, and residents that support independent creative commerce.

Things We Do

Serve as one voice with elected officials and change-makers, media and other potential collaborators, for businesses in the River Arts District.

Promote and sustain a mix of uses in the River Arts District that support independent creative commerce.

Build collaboration and support for the evolving River Arts District.

Be the Informational Source for our membership about all the new and exciting goings on in Asheville’s River Arts District.


Meetings are held the last Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. at various locations around the RAD.

May 28, 2019 meeting will be held @ New Belgium Brewery @ 4pm @ 21 Craven Street

come to the Brewhouse doors by 4pm plz… across the bridge under the bike arch!

June 25, 2019 RADBA Social @ Sunnyside Trading Company @ Foundation 27 Foundy Street from 4 to 6 pm… yes, food and drinks will be provided!
